CLAN WA has a team of over 100 trained volunteers working with families across WA.

The Role:
The main role of the CLAN WA volunteer is to maintain consistent and constant contact with the family by visiting once a week in their home. The duration of the visit can be from 1-2 hours and the contact can last for 6-8 weeks for a Parent Link volunteer and an average of 6-8 months for a Family Support volunteer. The volunteer offers support to families in developing and strengthening their family life. All volunteers are required to attend a training course to prepare them for their role.
