We recognise the impact of mental illness on immediate and extended family members, friends and colleagues. The indigo project provides support to individuals and families affected by someone else's mental illness through information sessions, workshops, one-to-one support and counselling. Our new service is funded by FACSIA and we started working with families in 2007.
indigo operates in the South East Perth Metropolitan area & Peel regions.
Information sessions and workshops are delivered in partnership with Brain Ambulance in South East Perth Metropolitan area and the Peel Region. Free courses and workshops are regulary available. Some of the course topics are :

§ Practical Tools & Tips for Carers
§ Dealing with Professionals
One on one support sessions in your space or ours, or a convenient place, are available through self-referal or via referral by an agency. You may complete the on-line Request for Service Form and then email lauren or request a form to be mailed out to you.
Counselling sessions for families requiring additional support are provided free of charge by our partner Relationships Australia. By talking through your stories with our counsellors you will gain insight, clarity and direction.
