A low cost, high quality service which provides short courses for parents encouraging healthy relationships, effective parenting, and community participation. Courses are open to everyone and the topics are constantly changing to appeal to the wider community. CLAN WA provides a range of content areas around child development, communication, conflict resolution, consequences of behaviour, boundaries, self-esteem building for parent and child, health and legal issues and living skills.
Courses usually run for 2.5 hours a week for 1-4 weeks. The cost can vary from $5—$15 depending on the duration of the course. Handouts and refreshments are provided.
